2/19/2023 0 Comments Barbarian with dino pets![]() I want new things, not old + horns = dragon. Gave all of them Horns and Scales and called "Lesser Dragonkin". So they just took old models that hunters can already tame like(from the top): Frogs, Stags, Windriders/Manticores, Tallstriders, and Basilisks. Tame Dragons huh? hey Alex come here a Moment > 3 Comment by Tigrala on T06:21:26-05:00 I hope Blizz would make Dragonmaw Skin available to the regular non-allied race Orc Bluish-Grey Skin, Dragonmaw Tattoos and Glowing Yellow eye colour combo, just like how we can make Darkfallen from Blood/Void/ NIght Elves. more warlock pet appearances and glyphs when? Comment by AceofHearth on T06:13:59-05:00Ĭan't wait to RP as DRAGONMAW Orc with DRAGONKIN pet and use DRAGONRIDING in DRAGONFLIGHT. I really don't like being "that guy", I really don't, but. Comment by Durtle on T05:58:17-05:00įaerie dragons or riot! Comment by Hezzara on T06:02:16-05:00 Wind Serpents are basically Amphitere dragons. Protodragon hunter pets, that would be great if they have a useful ability hunters everywhere will be using 'em. WE CAN FINALLY TAME DRAGONS(ish) BOIZ Comment by deathlavitz on T05:38:20-05:00 HORNSWOG Comment by Saluun on T05:22:41-05:00 ![]() Proto-Drakes probably has a higher likelyhood of being tamable for this reason. It is however rather unlikely that these would be tamable as "Lesser" Dragonkin appears to refer to more Primal Creatures and Beast-like Dragons rather than the ones we're used to seeing. There are of course many other forms of Dragons that have existed in Wow since the start of the game. They do generally fit the theme alongside Vorquin and Hornswogs of being "normal" creatures "but dragons", yet are still currently classified as Beasts. These are however part of other families already and are already tamable. The Dragon Isles has a couple more Beasts which could possibly be moved to the Lesser Dragonkin family. Because of this they are the main potential candidate for being moved to the Lesser Dragonkin pet family. These are, like the Hornswogs, Beast-like creatures classified as Dragonkin, but are not yet tamable. The Vorquin are stag-like creatures based on the Kirin/Qilin. We don't currently know how to learn to tame Lesser Dragonkin, especially seeing as there is not yet an item for it such as Simple Tome of Bone-Binding or Ancient Tome of Dinomancy.Īs it is very unlikely that the family will only include Frogs and Cloud Serpents, here are some quick speculations for what might be added to the family in future beta builds.Lesser Dragonkin have the Ferocity specialization.Lesser Dragonkin have Shimmering Scales as their family ability. The question remains whether learning to tame other new dragons would also teach you to tame Cloud Serpents, removing the need to acquire How to School Your Serpent. Cloud Serpents do not appear to require you to re-acquire a way of taming them, as How to School Your Serpent will currently still allow you to tame them. It is however very likely they won't be the only new creature added to the family.Ĭloud Serpents have been moved to the Lesser Dragonkin family for thematic reasons, having previously been part of the Serpent family. The Hornswogs are the Frog-like Dragonkin you might have seen hopping about on beta and are the only brand new addition to the family so far (that have been found at least). This coupled with a few spell data additions led to the discovery of this new family. ![]() Prior to the build this week, attempting to tame a Hornswog would return the usual "Creature not Tamable", but now it instead returns "You do not know how to tame Dragonkin" for some of them. For the time being this family is not fully developed but it's certainly an interesting addition for pet hunters. This most recent Dragonflight Beta Build has added a new Hunter pet family to the game! Fitting with the expansion theme this is the family of Lesser Dragonkin. Lesser Dragonkin - A New Pet Family for Hunters in Dragonflight Hunters will likely be able to tame a new pet family in Dragonflight: Lesser Dragonkin! ![]()
